Art in Motion: A Styled Shoot

Last Year was a rough one to say the least, as I have no doubt how many of us are all still being affected by the pandemic. However, in a surprising turn of events (and a sweet surprise at that!), I was asked by a dear friend, Amelia, to collaborate in a unique styled shoot, inspired by Ale Vidal’s “Still Life” piece. I am way overdue to sharing this day with you, but I am so pumped for you to see these all the same, despite my severe tardiness in doing so. ;)

Just thinking back to this day, and I’m reminded of a song called “Golden Butterflies”. Sigh. Take a moment if you’d humor me and listen to the song, or even better, listen to it as you look through the gallery below. Kinda gives you a romantic, quiet, and full of wonder sort of vibe, doesn’t it?!

This was the much needed breath of fresh air I didn’t even know I needed. I really have no words to describe how deeply I was moved by all the beautiful pieces that made this day just nothing short of magical (insert major nerding out moment here). To say I had a hard time just picking a few from our time together would an understatement, but, all the same, I hope you get all the feels and a sense of awe from this sneak peek.

Thanks to all who participated and shared their many gifts and talents with Amelia and I on this special day:
